General Membership
General members will pay annual dues of $25 per calendar year. Membership is open to all persons who support the Mission Statement of the Humane Society of Jefferson County, WA.
Lifetime Membership
You can become a Lifetime Member with a single contribution of $1000 or more. Lifetime members need not pay annual dues.
Honorary Membership
Honorary Membership is awarded by the Board of Directors to those who have made an outstanding contribution, either in service or by generous donation. No annual dues are payable by honorary members.
All members have voting rights and are eligible for election to the position of Directors/Officers. New members shall be formally accepted at the next Board Meeting following the payment of dues.
A: To aid, support, and assist by gifts, contributions or otherwise the Jefferson County Animal Shelter and to promote the well being and humane treatment of animals in the communities of Jefferson County, Washington.
B: To promote adoption of abandoned and surrendered animals.
C: To receive and manage funds donated for the purpose of improving the quality of life for shelter animals , including but not limited to medical care.
D: To serve as trustee of, and steward for, donations made for capital improvement to the Jefferson County Animal Shelter.
E: To help reduce the number of unwanted animals through the promotion of spaying and neutering.
F: To promote, through education and awareness, the humane treatment of all animals.
